Fibrous dysplasia is a developmental anomaly of bone formation that may exist in monostotic or polyostotic form. The incidence of monostotic fibrous dysplasia arising from foot is less than 2%. Only anecdotal cases have been reported in the literature about fibrous dysplasia arising from calcaneus.

The authors would like to present a case of fibrous dysplasia arising from the calcaneus in a 15 year old boy with the emphasis on keeping this rare possibility as a differential for the diagnosis of chronic heel pain
